Sam Bankman-Fried Reflects on His 2022 Vision Board
This year was nothing like I expected, but that’s the universe for ya
End of the year, and what a year it’s been- for me and for crypto! Time to look back before it’s time to look forward- hopefully not at too much jail time!
In January 2022, my ten roommates and I got together for a little vision board party to cut out magazine clippings in order to trigger the Law of Attraction. It’s my favorite law, honestly I don’t really care for any of those other laws that say “don’t commit securities fraud or money laundering.”
I wish I could share the image of my vision board, but unfortunately it’s still back in my luxury apartment complex, which federal authorities won’t allow me to access. So instead, here’s a description of some of the pictures I pasted on the board:
Beach Views, for Sunny Days
I love a gorgeous view of the beach- sunshine, palm trees, the ocean, yes please. This wish definitely came true for me, as I got to lie in the sand daily near my penthouse in the Bahamas while deceiving FTX investors. I’ll miss that ocean breeze but I’ll always treasure the memories of a dream come true.
